Deciding on a design for your Web site can be a nerve wracking process. Add to that the challenge of conveying your vision to your friendly Web Designer. While your Web Designer will guide you through the design process by using his or her expertise and training to help shape your ideas into best practices for the Web, ultimately, it is your Web site and it needs to fit your requirements.
Frequently, designers use what is called a mood board. Mood boards are used to display a variety of colors, type faces and design styles that nail down the overall look and feel of a design. Having these concrete examples helps to narrow the focus of the design - allowing the client and designer to collaborate on the same design vision. This in turn, helps to minimize costly design revisions in the future.
